Federal Heights
Federal Heights is one of the smaller communities within the Denver metro area. It is in Adams County between the larger cities of Denver and Thornton. The town is just 1.8 square miles and is home to about 12,000 residents. The city was named after Federal Boulevard that runs through the heart of the community. The city is home to Water World, the metro areas largest water park and one of the largest water parks in the entire country. The city offers a range of affordable living options and a mix of both suburban and urban elements. The city’s homes are older, on average, than most of the cities that surround it, but it features far more affordable options with most homes priced below $450,000.
